Market context

GIANTX and Solary are scheduled to compete in a League of Legends best-of-three match on 14 May 2026 as part of the lower bracket round two in the Esports World Cup EMEA Qualifier Playoffs. The match is set for 2:00 PM ET. This qualifier determines which teams advance toward the broader Esports World Cup competition, making it a consequential fixture within the regional competitive circuit.

The 100% crowd-implied probability suggests near-certainty in the market's assessment, though this reflects either strong conviction about GIANTX's superiority or potential illiquidity in the market itself. Historical precedent in esports prediction markets shows that lopsided probabilities often emerge when one team has demonstrably stronger recent form, roster stability, or head-to-head records. Without access to current roster compositions or recent match results between these teams, traders should verify whether the probability reflects genuine competitive disparity or simply reflects limited market participation. Esports markets can exhibit sharp repricing when new information surfaces regarding player availability or team preparation.

Traders monitoring this fixture should track official announcements from Riot Games regarding schedule confirmations, any roster changes or player substitutions announced before the match date, and whether either team faces scheduling conflicts with other tournaments. The settlement window closes 14 May at 23:00 UTC, providing a seven-day buffer for match completion. Under German GlüStV regulations and US CFTC oversight, this market's accessibility depends on the platform's KYC requirements; platforms offering no-KYC trading up to $1,500 notional exposure may attract different participant pools than fully regulated venues, potentially affecting price discovery and liquidity depth.

Resolution & payout

Resolution source: This market settles from the official publication at https://www.twitch.tv/caedrel. A proposer submits the result to the UMA Optimistic Oracle on Polygon, the two-hour challenge window opens, and the smart contract pays out in USDC.

FAQ

Do I need to KYC for PolyGram?
Not for lifetime trading volume under $1,500. Above that threshold, a quick KYC flow kicks in — ID, selfie, approximately 5-10 minutes. The threshold matches FATF travel standards for unregulated crypto platforms.
Can I trade anonymously?
Pseudonymously, yes — up to the KYC threshold. PolyGram stores an email address and wallet addresses rather than a legal name. Over $1,500 lifetime volume triggers KYC, after which identity is no longer anonymous.
What happens during a tax audit?
You're responsible for documenting your trades. PolyGram exports a full transaction history (CSV/PDF) for tax reporting. In an audit you'll need to present these documents.
Is there a withdrawal cap?
No platform-side cap. You can withdraw any amount provided KYC is complete. SEPA bank withdrawals over €15,000 trigger additional anti-money-laundering checks (statutory obligation for all platforms).
What if regulation changes?
If regulation changes in your jurisdiction (e.g. prediction markets are banned), PolyGram would geo-block the affected region and continue processing withdrawals. Your funds remain withdrawable at any time.
