Market context

T1 and Nongshim Red Force are scheduled to compete in a League of Legends best-of-three match within the LCK (League of Legends Champions Korea) regular season on 13 May 2026 at 04:00 ET. The match forms part of Rounds 1–2 of the spring split. T1 remains the region's most decorated franchise, whilst Nongshim Red Force has competed inconsistently in recent seasons. A 0% crowd probability suggests either extreme confidence in T1's victory or minimal trading activity on this particular pairing.

The LCK's historical match outcomes show T1 winning approximately 70–75% of fixtures against mid-tier Korean teams over the past two years, though Nongshim has occasionally produced upsets in best-of-three formats. Comparable esports markets on this platform have typically reflected stronger probability differentiation when facing established versus developing rosters; the current 0% reading may indicate insufficient liquidity rather than certainty of outcome. Nongshim's roster changes and coaching adjustments heading into 2026 remain material variables for assessing competitive positioning.

Traders should monitor official LCK scheduling confirmations, any roster substitutions announced before 13 May, and recent scrim results if disclosed by either organisation. Match delays beyond seven days trigger a 50–50 resolution per the market terms. Under German GlüStV and US CFTC frameworks, esports prediction markets of this type face varying regulatory treatment; UK-based traders should verify their jurisdiction's position. The "no-KYC up to $1,500" threshold applies to aggregate account exposure, not per-market limits, and does not override underlying regulatory obligations in users' home jurisdictions.

Methodology

This overview of LoL: T1 vs Nongshim Red Force (BO3) - LCK Rounds 1-2 reviews the four comparable platforms from a regulatory perspective: which is accessible in your jurisdiction, where KYC kicks in, how the platform is classified by your country of residence. Live probability is the Polymarket mid; comparison columns show regulatory status, KYC thresholds and settlement options for each platform.

Resolution & payout

Resolution source: This market settles from the official publication at https://www.twitch.tv/lck. A proposer submits the result to the UMA Optimistic Oracle on Polygon, the two-hour challenge window opens, and the smart contract pays out in USDC.

On Polymarket, resolution runs on-chain via UMA Optimistic Oracle. USDC payout is instant and automatic, with no KYC. Tax treatment depends on your jurisdiction — in the US, gains are usually ordinary income; in the UK, often capital gains. Consult a tax professional for your situation.

FAQ

Is Polymarket legal in my country?
Polymarket is geo-blocked in the US/UK/EU. Actual usage via the Polymarket interface is not possible there. The legal status itself varies — many countries treat prediction markets as a gray area. PolyGram has a different geo footprint.
Can I trade anonymously?
Pseudonymously, yes — up to the KYC threshold. PolyGram stores an email address and wallet addresses rather than a legal name. Over $1,500 lifetime volume triggers KYC, after which identity is no longer anonymous.
Are prediction markets gambling?
Legally unclear in most jurisdictions. Some interpretations classify them as wagering (gambling regulation applies), others as derivatives (financial regulation applies). There's no global precedent specifically for on-chain prediction markets.
Is there a withdrawal cap?
No platform-side cap. You can withdraw any amount provided KYC is complete. SEPA bank withdrawals over €15,000 trigger additional anti-money-laundering checks (statutory obligation for all platforms).
What if regulation changes?
If regulation changes in your jurisdiction (e.g. prediction markets are banned), PolyGram would geo-block the affected region and continue processing withdrawals. Your funds remain withdrawable at any time.
